About Me
Educator and Musician
I’ve been working in both education and music for over a decade. I’ve performed and recorded music as a trombonist in ensembles ranging from afrobeat to classical and the not so easily defined. As a composer, I’ve turned weather data into sound and sewn books that contain speakers. I’ve also been commissioned to write music for electronics and instruments.
I’ve also taught in schools in both New Jersey and Texas. I’ve helped students on their first day of school and congratulated them on graduation day. I’ve worked with beginners and advanced learners. Most of my experience in schools is at Title I buildings, helping students with disadvantaged backgrounds grow. I’ve also taught privately with students of many different backgrounds and ages.
